Review by Scp024 for Bistro 44

I really wanted to like Bistro 44 after seeing Chef Erik win on Chopped. I was very disappointed in the meal. For my entree', I ordered the flat iron steak which was supposed to come with Pommes Frit. Instead I received mashed potatoes, which I would never order as I dislike that very much. The steak, while cooked medium rare as I requested, was tough. The julienne vegetables were greasy. It was obvious that the two servers favored the regulars, but if you don't treat the new comers the same way, they won't become regulars. I don't think I will go back, and I was really hoping that I would have enjoyed this meal.
